iOS4 Jailbreak + Unlock

Hey I just updated my iPhone3Gs up to iOS4.0.1 after jailbreak.me 2.0 came out.
Yea then jailbroken @ jailbreak.me ...easy as hell just slide and be pride!
Unlock? no problem: Cydia ultrasn0w 0.93 (now 1.X idk)

done.

but... I've one problem there with my GPS :/ Navigon + TomTom aren't working anymore. They can't find any signal :( suxxx

my iPhone 3Gs

Hey there,

I got myself a new iPhone 3Gs for only 350 bucks in Paris and yeah nice price compared to Germany :D
Unboxed it... and noticed that there is already installed the 3.1.3 firmware which isnt jailbreakable because the 05.12.01 Baseband isnt it yet.
Yea I messed around with spiritjb which tells me that i need to have an activated iPhone... Even shsh isnt useful for jailbreaking but its only for downgrading which only make sense when the baseband would downgrade too. iREB is a nice Prog to avoid iTunes error (16xx) messages installing a custom firmware... but the bad is that it isnt possible for 3Gs yet.. Y the hell? ok y not... askin in a T Mobile shop failed because they dont have any clue what I'd need exactly for activating... just a fuckin SIMcard for activating that device on iTunes/Apple.. but hey I bought it in France and have a bill from Orange... There only has to get an orange sim card into it. Phew called my buddy from Paris to get one for me and well I'll meet him on sunday in Berlin sheesh!

But I still have to wait for the evil 05.12.01 Baseband unlock. The exploit already has been found and they are waiting for a new OS using it there. It's understandable :)

iPhone 3G Jailbreak

Woah yesterday a buddy asked me to help fixing his "new" fucked up iPhone 3G with missing WiFi and SimLock :(. So I just told him why not?! And so I gave it a try. That american iPhone was on OS 3.0 and needed to be jailbroken. Fine, I searched around what I would need. I tried two ways where u had to update to OS 3.0.1 or 3.1 but it failed at restoring via iTunes (unknown error -1604 and -1050 or so). FFFFFFUUUUU! ok then... last OS option: 3.1.2..... And so I started updating the iPhone on iTunes + Apple original Restore.
And so it flashed that firmware... Well what should I have used next? blackra1n YES!

FAIL! Without WiFi, YOU CAN'T UNLOCK THE IPHONE VIA BLACKRAIN WITHOUT WiFi AND WITHOUT HAVING CYDIA EVEN WITH CYDER :(! Wow that's hard.
Well... there had to be an other way :>. And I found that one. Yeah Boys and Girls, all you need, is a Custom Firmware. So I've searched for the CFW OS 3.1.2 for 3G activated with preinstalled Cydia. Plop, plugged iPhone to the PC, connected with iTunes and restored that evil thing with the murder custom firmware. And it worked! :D iPhone jailbreaked, sim unlock with blacksn0w via iPhoneBrowser and now there is one more kid happy on this big world. Yikes!
Ok if you read it right, one thing isnt fixed yet, the mysterious WiFi :0! But yea we will get it soon as possible... I will report about that!

+ a new Problem occured... when the battery is going down, the FW crashes and you can't boot anymore :/ (u only see the applelogo + rotating icon thingy + kinda buggy screen)
it's only possible to restore + blacksn0wfiles + first backup without any files(apps,music n stuff)

jailbreak.me isnt working on it too(wifi requiered ;D oh crap)
