The brokenNoWifi iPhone

Duh, I got the broken iPhone back from a buddy... yes it's the one the only one against I fighted twice^^
Situation:
- broken piece of crap 3G
- no WiFi-Module(broken)
- can't boot up... apple logo+ stuck spinning wheel in one

ok mh again this crap:
- reinstalled CFW. 3.1.2: done.
- copied blacksn0w files onto it: done.
- restore from backup: done.
- reboot... and AGAIN FAIL STUCK CRAP :(
mh tried some times.. but always same stuck problem...

ok then I got the idea to place ultrasn0w0.93 deb-files into the cydia autoinstallfolder...private/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall
BAM rebooted twice and worked :)
WB SIMLOCK!

GamesCom

The GamesCom is really nice but still not so cool as the GamesConvention in Leipzig ;)

I've tested many games: LoR: War in the North, Crysis 2, MoH, F.3.A.R., SpecOps: The Line, Bioshock Infinite, Star Wars: TFU2, Guitar Hero: War of Rock, DJ Hero 2, Def Jam Rapstar, PlayStation Move,.......

Edit: It was cool to play and talk with the developers ;).
Overall it was a nice time @ GamesCom with my ps3-talk.de buddies :D...

Two weeks ago I went into a Gravis Store near me and bought a new MacBookPro 15" (:
I'm happy with it ... AND it has an working MacOS X!!!
No more hackint0sh crap ;) I'm done with it spending my time with it. I already tried to code for iPhone and tested an "Fortune Cookie App" where you have to click on a cookie which opens and shows your message ;)...

At the moment I'm waiting for my 80€ gift from Gravis to buy the Magic Mouse and the HDMI Adapt0r :( but why it takes so loooong

Yea then jailbroken @ jailbreak.me ...easy as hell just slide and be pride!
Unlock? no problem: Cydia ultrasn0w 0.93 (now 1.X idk)

but... I've one problem there with my GPS :/ Navigon + TomTom aren't working anymore. They can't find any signal :( suxxx

my iPhone 3Gs

Hey there,

I got myself a new iPhone 3Gs for only 350 bucks in Paris and yeah nice price compared to Germany :D
Unboxed it... and noticed that there is already installed the 3.1.3 firmware which isnt jailbreakable because the 05.12.01 Baseband isnt it yet.
Yea I messed around with spiritjb which tells me that i need to have an activated iPhone... Even shsh isnt useful for jailbreaking but its only for downgrading which only make sense when the baseband would downgrade too. iREB is a nice Prog to avoid iTunes error (16xx) messages installing a custom firmware... but the bad is that it isnt possible for 3Gs yet.. Y the hell? ok y not... askin in a T Mobile shop failed because they dont have any clue what I'd need exactly for activating... just a fuckin SIMcard for activating that device on iTunes/Apple.. but hey I bought it in France and have a bill from Orange... There only has to get an orange sim card into it. Phew called my buddy from Paris to get one for me and well I'll meet him on sunday in Berlin sheesh!

But I still have to wait for the evil 05.12.01 Baseband unlock. The exploit already has been found and they are waiting for a new OS using it there. It's understandable :)

I need 3D Acceleration on my Hackint0sh!

As the title says, I srsly need an accel for my graphiccard to run more apps.
So I checked some forums and kernel extensions again but nothing helped. Cool I've found something interesting about the ATI 4830ies..... an acceleration kext.. http://rapidshare.de/files/46893369/accel.tar.bz2.html

well that driver patch thing just let the signal disappearing after booting up(apple logo-> blue screen with mouse-> black screen: lost signal).
so ive deleted all ati+natit crap to get back onto my hackintosh :/
I just need something to get 3D Acceleration and the Fullscreen resolutions >1680x1050.
The max resolution I can get is 1400x1050 trough boot.plist (I have written 1920x1080 in it).
I'd think that accel kext might help but nobody has it. :(

Oh geez I can stop that try. I can't get the Blasterbunny BD-J to run on my PS3 with FW 3.XX :( damn that sux.! It worked for me on 2.41 once :( How sad is that. SONY HOW DARE YOU!

Yes, I bought myself a TV on my birthday :). It's a 40inch 6series Samsung LED TV. Nice TV for my nice PS3 and the image quality pwns ^-^.

Well that was a bit offtopic news. My usual point posting here was to tell you that I'm trying to get some javaapplications to run on a PS3. I hope it'll work :> But at first I've to search a libraryfile called bdj.jar and I can't find it anywhere :(.

[MAC] Dual Boot + Resolution workaround

Cheers Dual Boot MAC OS X Leopard + Windows 7 is working better than expected :>!
My PC is booting... loading the Mac Chameleon Bootmanager where you can choose between the HDDs and the Windows one has a Windows logo :D. Thats nice!
As I already reported, I had the problem with the low resolution on my hackint0sh but yea i can't use any kext(kernel extension) yet because it might destroy the system. So I needed a workaround which is simply adding "Graphics Mode"="1680x1050x32" parameter while booting up.

So i downloaded the PlistEdit Pro and opened the Boot.plist @ /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist

and added:
Graphics Mode
1680x1050x32

Now its booting in my native resolution :).
Euuh not really :( its only 1400x1050. ~4:3 res? That isn't cool.

Oh ya I've messed my last weeks around with trying installing Mac OS X on my PC. I tried a Snow Leopard x86 and two other Leopards(iDeneb v1 and Leo4All v3) but it didn't went good as I hoped. Two DVDs stopped installing the OS because of the Error: "Could not validate Essentials package"

But hey, what about the third DVD? And so I tried installing from the last one... FAIL. There popped an other window that the DVD might be broken or something. OK!
So I wanted to stay on the EssentialError DVDs. Configuring BIOS, changing RAM and disconnecting IDE DVD Reader didn't helped. Well what to do?
Yes, let's load an other DVD. And so I downloaded an other DVD to try. Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.7 iDeneb v1.51 was the build. It started to install and BOOM finished installing. YAY! But it isn't done yet! I was dying to know what would happen when it is booting. Well next "error". The PC could'nt boot and hang up @ "Verifying DMI Pool Data...". Wow :(. Hm maybe... he is trying to boot from the wrong HDD? After changing the bootorder of my two HDDs it's finally booted up. Apple logo is showing up and then a blue screen flashed up and went to a black one. And no desktop or anything to see :(. That's evil weird. Because of that I got the idea to reinstall Mac OS X without any videocard drivers and it worked and bootet into Leopard. Nice! But the resolution is only @ 1024x768 and that sux :D!
Ok today I'll try to create a Dual Boot with Windows 7 and Mac OS X Leopard ;)!

Removing vertical stripes in THPS on PCSX2

I just read an issue in gh5 and they talked about some gamefix_skipdraw in gsdx and i tryed and works!
open gsdx.ini and change gamefix_skipdraw=0 on gamefix_skipdraw=10
7 and 8 is ok and NO VERTICAL STRIPES
On 10 missing hair, 9 is cool lol but still no hair

Ok now I've tested it myself on THAW.
It's overbloomed on >4.
On 4 you will see rainbowcolors like a reflecting cd/dvd in the light.
And on 2 its looking like comicstyle.
Well this option isnt worth on THAW for just removing those vertical stripes :/.
On THP8 it was better, like it worked for Kamil. Well my best one was on 10 but yea I don't care about it at the moment because I'll wait for a full working graphicbugfix :).

iPhone 3G Jailbreak

Woah yesterday a buddy asked me to help fixing his "new" fucked up iPhone 3G with missing WiFi and SimLock :(. So I just told him why not?! And so I gave it a try. That american iPhone was on OS 3.0 and needed to be jailbroken. Fine, I searched around what I would need. I tried two ways where u had to update to OS 3.0.1 or 3.1 but it failed at restoring via iTunes (unknown error -1604 and -1050 or so). FFFFFFUUUUU! ok then... last OS option: 3.1.2..... And so I started updating the iPhone on iTunes + Apple original Restore.
And so it flashed that firmware... Well what should I have used next? blackra1n YES!

FAIL! Without WiFi, YOU CAN'T UNLOCK THE IPHONE VIA BLACKRAIN WITHOUT WiFi AND WITHOUT HAVING CYDIA EVEN WITH CYDER :(! Wow that's hard.
Well... there had to be an other way :>. And I found that one. Yeah Boys and Girls, all you need, is a Custom Firmware. So I've searched for the CFW OS 3.1.2 for 3G activated with preinstalled Cydia. Plop, plugged iPhone to the PC, connected with iTunes and restored that evil thing with the murder custom firmware. And it worked! :D iPhone jailbreaked, sim unlock with blacksn0w via iPhoneBrowser and now there is one more kid happy on this big world. Yikes!
Ok if you read it right, one thing isnt fixed yet, the mysterious WiFi :0! But yea we will get it soon as possible... I will report about that!

Yeah, last time I tried to figure out going online with PCSX2.
At first I haven't known that I need a Network Access Disc or a game which includes the Configuration to play online. Well, so I asked a buddy to upload his NAD iso for me. Thx MaDetho :).

Then................... I gave it a try.

So it failed. Yesterday I got the idea to try it again, searching in PCSX2 and other forums. From there I've learned that you need the GiGaHeRz DEV9 0.30 Plugin and a DEV9 compatible PS2Bios(SCPH 3XXXX or 5XXXX). And so I downloaded the missing plugin and used my PS2Bios(SCPH 3XXXX).
After creating the NetConf File... it was time to try the internet connection.

And now on THAW.

Ok what is DNAS? DNAS is the Dynamic Network Authentication System created by Sony which is like a PC CDKey.
Cool and how it works?
The so called DISC ID is placed in an '*.img' file. :)
Finally I patched the moddedISO with the correct DISC ID and the result:

Now I'm online @ THAW woohoo :D and it works 100%. I had no crashs yet.
